    Hey folks

    My original Philips and first flatscreen 32pf9986 went wallup the other day.
    Gave it to my brother and sister in law when I got my 42PFL9964.

    Anyhoo they had been watching it and turned it off to go out, came back an hour later and it wouldn't come back on. I checked the power, replaced the power cable, switched socket to no avail. No lights anywhere

    In any case, can ye or anyone on thread recommend someone/somewhere to have a look at it, I assume it's a power board.

    Appreciate the advice.
    hick

    Mod Comment:

    @hick,

    Someone from the Philips Shop should be along to give you some advice about this - if you want to get the views of other Boardies, feel free to cross-post this query on the Home Entertainment Forums here http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=863 - I tried copying it across for you but my "Mod Powers" don't allow me to :).

    Cheers,

    Ritz.

    Nicola on behalf of Ash:

    Hey Hick,

    We do repairs here. Its €50 deposit when you drop in the TV which is deducted from the total cost of the repair at the end.

    This €50 however is non refundable if you decide not to go ahead with the repair.

    Give us a call instore on (01)47740788 if you want to have a chat or you can simply drop it into ourselves at The Philips Shop, 19-22 Dame Street, Dublin 2.

    Thanks a mil, Nicola.
