Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm looking for some advice on hair products to use before drying hair. I have long thick dry hair and it takes me forever to dry it straight, has anyone any recommendations on a serum or moose that you can use before drying hair to make this a bit easier.

    Any advice is appreciated :)

hey curious100, im not sure about serum and moose but my hair was in really bad condition after i dyed it one time - so i got a really good conditioner.. my hair is blonde so i used sheer blonde conditioner.. i also bought treseme heat protection spray, you spray it on wet hair before you blow dry or straighten your hair... and my hair is in much better condition now... hope this helps :)

Moroccan oil is very good. I'm not sure that it'll have an impact on your drying time but it definitely leaves the hair much sleeker and softer.

Thank you very much for the replies, I've just ordered the moroccan oil, I'll let you know how I get on with it. :)

They do indeed, I was looking at it the other day! Can't remember the name though >.<

My friend uses the VO5 hot oil treatments, and she says they're brilliant! She would have similar hair to you OP. Think you use them as a conditioner?

Loreal have an argan oil shampoo.

Isn't it just a nicely scented olive oil?

The v05 hot oil is also very good, actually goes on for 1 min before your shampoo

Vo5 also have a "heat serum" for before you use the heat of the dryer or straightener on your hair - I find it very good and you can put a little more in once the hair is dry/done to smooth it out. I found it in Tesco. The Vo5 hot oils are great but you wouldn't want to use them very often because they can end up weighing down your hair - fantastic as a once in a while treatment though!

I checked on wiki, http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argan_oil might be something to it
