Is anyone looking to rent a 2 bed for 3 months from April in Dublin City Centre? Finding it hard to get such a short term letting.

Have you checked Daft.ie? They have a special category for short term lets.

Thanks. I have tried daft.ie but they all seem to be very expensive. We are thinking of around 800 to 900 a month for a two bed. I have looked at let.ie and dublin short term lets. It's very hard to get a short lease. It might be a bit early to look.

You are going to have your work cut out for you if that is your budget, especially if you want a place in the city center that is half way decent. That is only 200 euros a week. As most short term lets also come come with gas/electricity/cable TV/internet & housekeeping services included, getting 2 bedroom apt for that amount may be a tough task.

If you check out 2 bedroom apts in decent areas of Dublin 1 & 2 on Daft, you'll see that getting a 2 bedroom apt for under a thousand euro a month isn't easy. And that is with signing up for a one year lease, and paying all the utilities yourself. I can't see you finding one for 800/900 euros, especially as you are only going to be there for such a short space of time. Not many landlords would want to rent to you for such a short amount of time as they will not make much profit from you once they deduct letting agent fees, paying all the utility bills and paying housekeeping charges.

Have you tried B&B listings on tourism websites? If you are ok with getting reduced services (such as no internet, no kitchen or living room of your own etc) you may be a be able to get accomodation for 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 kids (presuming that that is what you want based on your original post) for 200 quid a week.

Thanks it's for 2 adults and two children so the b n b would be a good idea.
