    going to be in galway on a sunday and monday night... which are the best pubs to go to these nights? ie have music / entertainment?
    are most of the restaurants open on a monday night or are they closed?

    Good blues gig in McGinns on the docks. Not been there since before Christmas but I presume its still going on. Restaurant upstairs as well but I dont know its hours.

    I don't know of one bar or restaurant that isn't opened on a Monday night in Galway city.



    There is always Trad in Taaffees on Shop Street, opposite Easons, every night.

    Vina Mara don't open on a Monday and neither do the Townhouse restaurant I think, (I could be wrong about the Townhouse).
