Webb being generous to the opposition several times!

    Jayob10, I agree. He's way too deep.

When we are depending on a 32 year old with dodge knees for all creativity and goal threat then I think we have a problem somewhere tbh

    Disgraceful from Webb

Its Webb only way Liverpool would get a pen from him is if someone is clean trough round the keep and about to put it in an empty net before being taken out

Must be frustrating for Carroll, he has spent more time on the ground than upright.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

I think when Kenny said "Be more like Suarez" Carroll took it the wrong way...

Nice to have someone else taking shite corners, bit of variety is nice.

Not good enough. The owners need to get their hands in their pockets for a striker because simply put not having one is costing us forth place.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,243 ✭✭✭✭Jesus Wept

    I sense a goal.

If Kenny genuinely is happy with this team then we have big problems.

The man has had it in for us for years. A useless ref.

They put their hands pretty deeply into their pockets, it got us adam, carroll, downing an henderson. ....end result, this crap.

Its more than that though, the whole set up is too deep, too conservative. You could have Messi, Ronaldo and Gomez in the attack and Dalglish would still have everyone too deep. Just don't get why.

    Too deep?

We've been camped in Stokes's half the last 45 mins

Gas that everyone mentions Carroll when our attacking 6 to a man have been shocking.

Really depressing watching, KD has to fix this and quick.

Webb gives us free kicks in areas that don't matter at all. He's one smart cookie.

Should have been camped there in the first half, anyway half is meaningless if its not in the danger areas.

Actually their net spend is pretty pathetic for a top club but i'm sure you already know that.

Baffling, it's what we used to complain about with hodgson. The club seems to be crippled by the fear of expectation. Time to foget about the past, break of free of it and play without fear for the future

Chhhriiishhht that was boring. Shocking game/performance by Liverpool.

Poor game. First half, we were on top but did not create much. Second half we pushed on and more evidence that we lack any goal scoring quality.

    Good result for Stoke.

Well done Stoke, thought that would be comfortable for Liverpool,it not being away, wet or a Tuesday night.

Pure utter muck. Drivel. Horsesh1t (in keeping with the trend of previous posters).

In all seriousness, KD would want to sort something out.

Kenny has to take the wrap for that. Desperate stuff. Our playmakers are all defenders FFS. Looking to Johnson, Enrique Skrtel to create something. Absolutely clueless.

Probaly the lowest point of the season so far, I haven't being that fustrated in a long time. I'm off to get hammered.

I stopped watching when he replaced Downing with Carroll.

Not a good day for Dalglish.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,653 ✭✭✭kingshankly

Team selection was wrong and that set the tone simply not good enough kenny

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,288 ✭✭✭ynwa_17

Players booed off and rightly so. Kenny has to take the blame for that. Terrible set up from the offset

most definately, and the lack of any changes mid game to the way the team is set up is what worries me.

I wonder is this Steve Clarkes remit, he seems to have Kennys ear on the touchline.

Its as if they leave things as they are in the hope of something happening. This is really poor stuff, just lacking in ideas.

Lack of guile is the major problem with this side, when the ball is in the final third we have nobody who can cause problems, pick passes in tight spaces and release the ball at the right time. Thats just as much a problem as the lack of a centre forward. A brand new centre forward just wouldn't have the ammunition to fire in this set up.

I don't care what anyone says, its games like this that make me wonder why managers insist on giving Gerrard the central midfield slot. Its as plain as day he is more dangerous the closer to goal he plays.

And thats an indictment on these signings, after x amount being spent we are still relying on him to pull it out of the fire.

ANOTHER f*cking draw at home, its getting ridiculous.

We will not get fourth place its as simple as that. If the owners wish to wait until the summer to add players they will be trying to attract quality without any champions league football. And thats a real worry.

Calling a spade a spade, these signings have not had the imapct we had hoped and thats putting it lightly.

Been that way for a while now. Our defenders are our best playmakers i'm afraid.
