Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

For a coherent argument, see above.
I have elaborated on my points so that the less informed; like yourself can better understand. Sometimes it takes a little longer for people like you to grasp what is being said. Keywords are not enough. I appreciate this, so I have tried to put things in a simple way for you.
I live in Ireland, it has become a sad little world; part of the EU.
On that point I agree with you.

While there are issues with the immigration ( the number of immigrants in any year) your situation and beliefs are hopelessly hypocritical. You were anti-racist as a minority in London, as - being Irish - racism there affected you. You are racist for Ireland. Both are tribablist beliefs, as England was not really - you felt back then - your real ethnic home.

You now think that English people could have kicked you out, but thats just because you are comfortable in Ireland.

This is a common enough belief system amongst some minorities I meet in London. Jewish people who believe in mass immigration into societies they are minorities in, whilst supporting a Jewish State ( which exists because of controlled ethnic immigration). A Korean friend, member of the SWP for a while, who once whined to me about recent immigration to Korea. And so on.

I used to think the death penalty was a good option for the worst crimes/criminals. Now, I don't. Mainly because of the episode of Penn & Teller: Bull**** about the death penalty (it's on Youtube I think if you want to check it out)

Now I don't think the death penalty should ever be an option.

I've gone the other way on the death penalty. With higher standard of doubt a multiple cold-blooded killer, or a killer of children should be killed.

I used to also be anti death penalty, now im very very much in favour of it under strict rules

I used to be quite strongly pro-choice but I seem to be in a minority of people who can fully understand the point of view of both sides and don't think there's actually a right answer. Does that count?

Yes, that actually sums up my position on it nicely too.

On a more serious note, I used to hate flip flops and think they were hottible uncomfortable things. Now I actually look forward to good weather just so I can wear them. Dead handy for travelling with too, takes up such little room.
