Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fack off. Kids were often sent out to work at 12 in the 19th century and had kids much younger. Morons.

You're right, it took me 12 years to get to 8 years old. They do it in 4 nowadays. I blame falling standards in maths.

There are people being born that were never born before too. Crazy.

That's sort of like the people saying "The world's getting more violent every day."

No it isn't. If anything, it's the opposite.

People say it about girls in particular, 'they're growing up faster' 'there's more pressure nowadays'. Ehhhh not long ago the average teenager would have had to support themselves financially, help with the support her (usually) large family, taking care of housework, farm work, probably rearing a few younger siblings while she's at it. As well as looking into the responsibility of her own marriage, kids, home etc.

Nowadays girls are considered more 'grown up' and 'pressurised' because they have to worry about shaving their legs or what they're going to wear at the rugby club disco. I don't get it.

They're more mouthy and act more entitled than when I was young and I'm not exactly old. Not more mature, though they try to look like they are. TV, Internet, rabble rabble.
