    We were taking a lenient view on record labels posting but due to the rise in numbers I have decided from now to strictly enforce the following point from the charter:

    how do you define a label, or how do you differentiate between a grass roots, non profit making label out to promote music and one thats there to make money more than promote music?

    Good question. But really the answer is - for the purposes of this forum it doesn't matter.

    The Band Promotion forum is for bands themselves (or people working with them) to promote themselves, not the labels.

    So if one user is posting loads of threads about different bands or releases then that's obviously a label promoting their releases and is not allowed.
