Cazorla in London Airport. Looks like it's happening!
    Link

Arsenal still in for Sahin regardless of Cazorla according to BBC.

    Happy days for Arsenal :D

That orange jacketed in the picture has a barcelona strap on his jacket. It's probably not London.

I will enjoy it when it's confirmed thanks.

Song has failed to make an impact in the premier league and yet Barca want him  Paper never refused ink.

I'll be devastated if we don't get Sahin or Cazorla now. Preferably both.

Tbh, would be annoyed if Barca signed Song. Not good enough.

Great article this morning by John Cross on the Van Persie situation. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/arsenal-column-robin-van-persie-1204758

He's running out of options it seems, if he stays and we do bring in Cazorla and Sahin then we must be a good shout for the league at 16/1.

Song would be perfect as a CB in Barca's system.

Nope. He's gonna be our new Keita but he doesn't bring anything new to the table. He can pick out a pass but it's hardly like we're short of that. He's a bit suspect in defense aswell.

According to this bloke who was accurate (so far) about Cazorla, Arsenal aren't quite done mining Malaga.

Our whole summer dealings will be what they paid for one good player ...:D

    Decent enough squad there.

What have you been watching. He is one of our best players.

So I'm really unsure about all this 'spotted at an airport' rubbish but Carzola definatly didn't attend Malaga's training session today.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,232 ✭✭✭meriwether

If Robin was to have a change of heart, I wouldn't even want him to apologise.

It would be one of thoese things we'd never speak of again.

C'mon Robin, if we get Cazorla and Sahin, our squad is as good as United/Juve, and not a million miles behind City.

Malaga just released a statement saying they were restructuring to fit in with FFP. They're boned. The rumour is that Arsenal paid in cash so got him for 12.5 million, less than Malaga paid last summer.

  • Users Awaiting Email Confirmation Posts: 15,001 ✭✭✭✭Pepe LeFrits

Suggestions that the fee for Cazorla may be a lot lower than initial suggestions as Malaga are so badly in need of cash up front. Not that I care hugely, as long as we get him...

I have no idea what these players are like, seems to be highly rated but aren't we over stocked already in midfield?
Would rather another LB and CB and another forward provided Van Persie leaves.
We also need to off load players, lots of players.

This does seem to have fallen from the heavens as a sign that fiscal prudence might not be the worst idea. Arsenal didn't spend big for ages and have cash reserves, and suddenly a big oil club goes down in flames and Arsenal can come in and pick up the pieces.

    Midfield:
    -Arteta - no complaints here
    -Wilshere - injured
-Diaby - injured, potentially sh1t even if not injured
-Ramsey - too soon, but will be awesome
    -Arshavin - sell, immediately. Waster
    -Theo - mercurial (being generous)
    - Song - defensively unsound
    -Rosicky - approaching the end
-Ox - going to be huge
-gerv - going to be really good

We don't have a midfield schemer. Thats Carzola.

I'm going to enjoy picking United apart when they eventually go bust.

I hope they develop Cleverly well, he's going to be dieal for us in 5 years time.

Exactly we have been lacking a midfielder with Guile (as Dunphy would say) and he fits the bill.
I think RVP will stay, and not because as others suggested he can't get the money etc, but because he may think "hang on this team is exactly what i want" :pac:
