    Hi guys,
Looking for advice on the above. My brother just bought a 1980's dormer house which has moss on the slates and wants to clean it. What is the best practice here. I presume there is a fungicide or something such to go on first and gentle power washing then?? It's very steep so a cherry picker is needed.
    All advice appreciated.

We did ours about 7 years ago. Used no fungicide, just gave it a gentle power washing. When it had dried for a week or 2 we painted it with a good quality slate paint. It looks pretty good to this day - the paint never flaked and the moss didn't grow!
