Woods near Athenry (on Tourlough road)-how to access?

Hi, I live in Lackagh, sometimes drive to the playground in Athenry with my kids. On the road from Tourloughmore to Athenry there's quiet a large woods on the right hand side (there's a school next to it I think). It might be a nice place to explore with my kids. But does anyone know where there's any entry points to it…

Hi,

Also any other woods near Lackagh? I know the one in Clarinbridge and past Salthill but they're a long drive from where I live.

Is it Carnaun N.s? Why dont you go out to Monivea, they have a great forest park, or Renville in Oranmore.

is it beside coolarne school,could belong to cuan mhuire,there is merlin woods past the merlin park hospital
