Ok thanks for that. There was something I was hoping to have by Thurs afternoon and was going to fire the order in. But that's grand I can survive without it this weekend and add a few more things to my order this week.

Sorry folks- I know this isn’t a bargain alert but does anyone know if it’s possible to place an order with SportsDirect and have it delivered to a Parcel Motel?
    Thanks!

Do you all now with AIB cash back rewards you can get 10% cash refund on top of whatever discount you might be able to get on their own website

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,933 ✭✭✭Blanco100

trying to avail of this on the AIB rewards, I don't see the discount being applied at checkout online.

Is this for 10% back on the next purchase (after this current one)?

You get 10% of your purchase price refunded back into your bank account. No idea how quickly that will happen, possibly within a week.

You actually get more saving paying in Sterling on the website using a revolut card.

That's not the case for the few different products I've looked at. The price in pounds converted doesn't come to less than the euro price less 10%.

Or order in GBP and pay using your Irish card. Suck up the FX fees (which aren't anywhere near 10%)

Must be something out of stock they're waiting on back in, as I ordered later in November and got it within a couple days.

It's generally cheaper to pay in pounds anyway, preferably using something like Revolut.

How were they too big, aren't shoe sizes the same?

I'd imagine it's not worth sending back. Maybe ask about changing them in their shops here.

No, they're not. I have to wear a bigger size in Adidas than Nike (at least based on UK sizes).

I'm typically a size 5 and that's what I ordered, I've way too much room in them.

I'll try return them to a store but I thought they didn't accept returns that way?

Shoe sizes, Grrrr, I've from 8 to 11 here. PITA.

Received my order from Sports Direct this morning, can't say I'm too happy, two items missing, and the wrong invoice in my package. It's for another lady, detailing all her information, name, address, email, 2 phone numbers, serious breach of data protection from Sports Direct. Now I can only assume someone else has my invoice with all my information on it.

I'll emailed them straight away so I'll report back on what they say regarding both issues.

Same happened to my wife. Usually it's 5 for her. But the one she took of 5 size is bit loose.

I asked before and they wouldnt take them, said as they were bought online you have to post them back (at your expense too, even when they made the error)

Parcel Connect do a return to Sports Direct UK for €6.95. I know it's at customers own expense, but depending on what you are returning, it will work out cheaper than An Post.

Sizes are different depending on brand

Take a size 6, this is Euro 39.5 in Nike, but it's only a 39 in Adidas.

Good to know as I think it cost about €8.50.

You'll be waiting for a reply, if you ever get one, they are shockingly bad at customer service

I'll contact my bank so, not even sure if they'll do anything, but having bad customer service isn't an excuse for letting them get away with not sending me two items worth €32.

I should have stayed well clear, it's my own fault. I had issues with them in the past, first time buying something off them in over 3 years and this happens. I'll know the next time, even if they have a 50% off discount code.

Always use PayPal when you're paying for delivered shoes or clothes. And ensure you're signed up to Paypal's 'return shipping costs refunded' scheme.

Put in an order last night and it’s pending twice in my online banking, just wondering is this normal or have I actually ordered twice?!
