  • Registered Users Posts: 633 ✭✭✭augusta24

Anywhere you can see the breakdown of what you got in each component??

Also can't seem to find what each grade is worth in percentages , anyone got a link to that??

On the home page in the first box "My Results" the first link "CLICK HERE FOR YOUR CURRENT RESULTS" it should give the break down there.

% grades are dependent on each lecturers own guidelines, they don't show on the transcript.

Thanks but I don't think I explained that well sorry, I meant anywhere to see the results from each component in each module. I can see my final grade for each module, but can't see what I got for the essay/exam etc.

You will need to request to see the script or ask each lecturer, drop them an email to find out but you may have to wait a few days.

If my residual QCA is above 2 does that mean that I can continue on and take the repeats in august?

I got 2 D1's .... do I have to repeat them? My QCA is 2.24

Optional repeat on D's as long as QCA is above 2.0, In a word No ;)

Seems to have crashed, I got my results earlier thankfully.

Shocking results- some where shocking because they were so good, but the other was shocking because I got NG... I'm not sure what the hell happened there. It's a hard subject but the exam didn't go too badly (went a lot better than any of the subjects I got a B in or so I thought) and I'd already got at least 8% through assignments over the year...

How do I go about getting that checked? I hardly got less than 2% on my exam

Get on to the secretary of the department - they can sort you out to view the paper. You're better to view the paper before applying for a recheck - lecturers take a pretty dim view of not viewing the paper before rechecking unless you're on erasmus or something. At the viewing days they usually have the recheck forms. Viewing is free but rechecking requires a deposit of €25, you get it back if your grade goes up. Hope it works out :)
