    Can anyone reccomend a place in Dublin with a decent selection of Airfix? Looking to get into it as i've a bit of free time over the next few weeks. Will start out with just the starter sets.
    I know Toymaster on Henery St have a decent selection of models from what I can remember, Hornby and the likes. What are they like for Airfix? Any other places you can reccomend?

    Also any tips for a newby? :)

    Marks Models in city beside Screen D'Olier Street cinema , in Dun laoghaire and out in an industrial estate in Newcastle are your best bet .But toymaster at top of Henry Street near Smyths ARE good too.

    I bought the Gazel starter set a few days ago and got it finished.

    It's a neat little model, but dam it's small. :eek: Had a tough time getting the decals right.

    It's not the best but I'm still proud of it. :o

    Don't limit yourself to just Airfix, others like Italeri, Hasegawa, Tamiya, Revell etc are often better and easier to build. Revell do starter sets too.
