    I plan to have another Irish Metal only show on March 19th.

    I'm always looking for new Irish Metal to play on the show, so if you haven't already sent in a cd .. do it now !!

    just a reminder that the Irish special is taking place on March 19th. I got loads of new irish stuff sent in, so thanks for all those bands. Still time to send in your stuff.

    I will be giving away tickets to the Darkest Era/Mael Mordha gig as well

    Coincidentally it is also the 15th anniversary of Metal Notes .. so will have plenty of other goodies to give away.

    Yeah, dont believe its offically 15 years actually. How many years has phantom been offically on the air? Not including down time during sorting a broadcast licence...

    Way back to when it was Spectrum I guess.. Can't remember when but with the license came all the regulated mainstream trimmings and I am surprised ray's show didn't get the chop

    Just an update i'll have a few tickets to giveaway for the Mael Mordha/Darkest Era gig and the Lamb of God gig on this show.

    for people that are wondering, Phantom started in Jan 1997 .. i joined in Feb and the Metal show kicked off shortly afterwards ..

    Just checked the website to se when you are on.Only 2 hours of metal per week? That's a pain in the ass. I remember the old days of the pirates in the '80s when Kiss FM had a few hours every weeknight. A radio tied to the headboard of my bed...those were the days!
