Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just wondering what are the specs of each? Which is the higher spec model?

Googled it but didn't really clear it up for me

Trendline is base, Comfortline is mid and Highline is top.

    There isn't a highline on a 2008 golf.

Trendline is the lowest spec, then there's comfortline and GT Sport. Both of these are around the same broad spec, one has a few extra sporty touches and the other a few creature comforts.

Might be worth sourcing a UK Golf Match as they have plenty of kit.

Went through this with an aunt of mine when she was orderin one in 2006.
The comfort line is the mid range model and it has
    1.) 16 inch alloys
    2.) Cruise Control
    3.) an Armrest
    4.) Aircon
5.) auto lights and rain sensor
    6.) sportier seats

    Well worth the extra

Completely agree on it being worth the extra over a Trendline. As can be seen by the interior of that "GTD" this morning:D

Air-con was only standard on MY07+ cars, armrest was an extra and standard wheels are 15s.

The GT Sport had 16s however.

Arm rest was still an option on 08 cars.

Do they have controls on steering wheel of comfortline?

They were optional. There are a few around, the UK Match spec has them however.
