Tornado Season 2012.

Waterspout makes landfall in Hawaii.


The storm produced a water spout that turned into a tornado when it came ashore in Lanikai. It damaged several homes. The damage ranges from downed trees to blown roofs, to even holes in the sides of homes.

A Lanikai resident shot this video just after 7 o'clock this morning. A waterspout just offshore. Little did this person know how much damage it was about to cause. "So this whole thing lifted here." Darren de Mello does maintenance work for this home on Mokulua Drive.

"It lifted from the middle of this right here. That's where the hole is in the middle and threw it over there." That's right -- part of the roof ended up in the tree. And here's what it looks like inside the home. "I thought oh my God." Mother Nature punched a hole in one of the bedrooms. "You're talking 4x12 beams just snapped in half."

Luckily no one was injured.
The tornado also wreaked havoc a few doors down -- demolishing a shed on Robin Lloyd's property. It also tore off part of her front gate, and uprooted a traffic sign. The tornado then made its way across the street, uprooting a tree there before causing trouble on Kuailima and Onekea Drive.

They are saying the hail was base ball sized which is unprecedented for Hawaii.Could be largest hail in Hawaiis history.

Tornado warning just south west of Detroit at the moment, seems to be one on the ground but it doesn't look too severe thankfully, the storm is headed straight for Detroit by the looks of it

Thats not my photo ... if off our Storm Chase Virtual Chase group on Fb...
I cant get it on my Mac ... but ye the green triangles are severe markers and the yellow circles the rotation marker, i cant remember the settings much but much be one of them thats switched off... unless ur just always checking it when theres actaully no rotation about ha...

Thats the main programme we use when over there

Did you try using a VMWARE to install a virtual windows operating system and then install GRLevel3 on it?

Naw I use it when there is proper tornadoes like the ones in Nashville last week, never showed none of the rotation though!
