    OP that picture is right outside Pearse St. Garda station. There are no other parking facilities available in that location. The occupiers of the adjoining building to the station do the exact same thing.

    Also on another note, think of the times when you're walking around town and see junkies & scumbags acting up.... " I hope they just p*ss off and leave me alone" . Who do you think deals with these people? Imagine waking up everyday and having to deal with it.

    Gardaí take liberties like other people in similar positions of reasonable power - supervisors, managers, doctors, matrons etc etc.

    Flicking on the lights & sirens to get past traffic - so what? Could be on their way to a serious accident/burglary/court appearance. Who knows.

    There are much larger issues out there IMO.
