Is Dabs The Cheapest?

I went through the list of retaillers on the sticky there and dabs seems to be the cheapest, apart from newegg but they dont deliver to ireland

It seems the other websites are cheap but they dont add the tax till the end

Just wondering if there are cheaper out there

I’ve found Amazon to be surprisingly cheap for some items. Just one example is a 2TB drive I bought for 133.50 sterling and was on dabs for 263.79euro. Pretty big difference. Amazon has since raised price to 158.95 sterling, still a lot cheaper.

Just wondering, what are you looking to buy? If you were building something sub €300 or so dabs.ie may well be cheaper due to the €30 flat shipping from HWVS

I plan on getting a few things but I dont plan to get them all at once thats why I was wondering if there is anywhere that is cheaper than dabs overall :L for decent psu's and gpu's for e.g 600w and gtx560ti to be exact

dabs and you can get some very good deals on pixmania at times.

I've used Komplett.ie for a lot of my parts. They might not be the cheapest but they have a 2 year guarantee and free delivery on all there items. If anything goes wrong I like the fact I can get it sorted from someone sitting in Dublin. You can also talk them direct on Board.ie in the Biz section. After sales service can make it a lot cheaper in the end.

I used scan.co.uk for my build. They have some good deals. The reason I used them and not german website, because I dislike all bank transfer and Delevery times. I got my stuff on scan.co.uk in less then 2 days, check it out there. Sorry I can't link you to items you looking for as I am on my phone

Comparing prices around the place with the usual popular sites, there doesn't seem to be much difference in the cost of a total build. Oftentimes there's delivery and additional weight surcharges which you mightn't know about until you go to check out that bargain build you've put together or read the fine print links at the bottom of the homepage. Even HWVND have those surcharges so they aren't as cheap as they would initially seem plus their lack of a credit card option puts a lot of people off, including myself.

I'd stay away from Dabs.ie. Got item on Monday with fingerprints all over. Contacted them for refund and got answer that I am too late for 7 day cool off period! Parcel arrived to my door and I contacted them within 24h. Am fuming. Never ever.
Similar story with Elara.ie. Requested RMA, was pushed to do myself through manufacturer, done that, got same issue, came back to Elara, got answer once is not enough, done again, item DOA, sent to elara 2 weeks back still no money. "Testing" they say. Not sure what to test, item has no life at all. Still waiting. Issues started back in Nov 2011. Stay clear!
Scan on the other hand were grand. Had issues with an order, helped me within 24 hours. Always good delivery times and support. Decent packed packages and reasonable price.

Cant say that I had the same experience RMA'ing something with Dabs.ie. A Corsair H40 was faulty when it arrived(grinding in the motor). After a few days (I was busy) I emailed them explaining the situation. The girl told me to file an RMA report on the site. Two days later a courier picked up the package. It got back to them after 4 days and they emailed me to say they have received it. Two days later I get a delivery notice for a replacement. Not bad I must say!

I am still waiting for their answer on this. It's only day 3 after I have received the item and post records show exactly that. According to the distance selling rules I have 7 working days from receiving the item not from purchasing it. It was posted (left their site) less than 7 working days ago after all and there is a record on post tracking as well. Just my luck
