hotels not far from the dail

    im looking for a hotel that has family rooms ,in a reasonably short walk from the dail
    any suggestions please

    You won't get any closer than Buswells Hotel.

    Buswells Hotel. Its directly across the road from the main gates to Leinster House.

    Other hotels nearby include The Shelbourne, The Merrion, The Davenport. All 5*
    We are talking about the heart of the parliamentary quarter of Dublin 2 so everywhere around here is very upmarket with prices to match.

    Since when is the Davenport a 5*? It's a 4* just about.

    Also in the same region are the Mont Clare and Alexander Hotels (sister hotels to the Davenport).

    A little bit further, but still less than 10 mins walk to the Dail is Latchfords apartments http://www.latchfords.ie/ might be more suited for what you want.

    What I meant was there is a MASSIVE difference between the Merrion/Shelbourne which are luxury hotels, and the Davenport which is a nice enough hotel but certainly not in the same category as the others.
