Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

just looking to no if anyone knows the handiest way to bleed air from the brake lines, was told to use a clear lenght of tubing connected to the bleed nibble and attach it by clip and put other end in a bottle with brake fluid in it and then loosen nibble and pump brake slowly with someone watching for the air coming out through the tube...

so is this the handiest way our is there another way?

    Ideally two men work:
1 man: Engine off, press brake pedal a few times then hold it under pressure and say "ready!"
2 man: Slightly open a brake pipe valve on one of the wheels- you will see brake fluid and possible some air going trough..
1 man: when the brake pedal goes to the floor after 2nd man opened the valve- shout OK!
2 man: while the brake pedal is in the floor by 1st man, close the valve and shout "pump again!"
Repeat the procedure on another wheel..

Handiest way is to use a bleeding tool. 1 man job and eliminates the risk of 'flipping' the servo which is reputed can happen when using the pedal pumping method on an well used car.
One common type is basically a cap which you screw onto the reservoir and pressurises the braking system using compressed air from a tyre. You just go around each nipple, open, bleed and tighten.

No matter which method you use always ensure the reservoir is kept topped up.

I have a gunson kit myself and it's an effortless job to change brake fluid now.
