Hi Guys just a quick question I have a lab in Mechanical Systems but I have no idea what percentage of it goes towards the final mark, A couple of the guys are saying 30 % is this true?

Not sure whether it's Mechanical Systems 1 or 2 that your doing, but according to CourseWise, the Labs / Workshops are worth 20% ot total mark.

Written Paper - Assessed at the End of the Semester - 70%
Mid Semester Assessment - 10%
Continuous Assessment Laboratory / Workshops Assessment - 20%

Of course, this is subject to change from year to year so the best person to ask is your demonstrator / lecturer.
