Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If you had one station had to keep?

I don't know how much more funding RTE has than Tg4 but I am guessing with the amount they pay their top presenters, it must be 100 times what tg4 are funded with?

Even if you were to Forget the funding, i think Tg4 have slightly better quality programming, mostly diverse and interesting documentaries(Mostly which are irish produced?),Soaps? Ros na Rún> Fair city, show better movies , a good few more appealing presenters, fresh & innovative fashion and music shows

Which station to keep? 5 votes

I can speak Irish but almost wish I couldn't when I catch a few minutes of Ros na Rún.

Wow, the choices, I'll just have to hope that when I flip the coin it somehow explodes and kills me.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

TG4. They gets less money and spend it more wisely than RTE. They also make better original documentaries and series's. RTE made Fade St.

It has to be TG4 for me - its range of documentaries is fantastic.
I'll be skipping around between terrestrial and freeview , looking for something to grab my attention, and it seems i'll always come across some gem on tg4.
Ah, if I only had more than the cupla focal, i'd watch more of it...

TG4 don't get any licence fee. They make money from adverts and state grants. and as Frada said, they spend their money better and make better television. Granted it's not my thing because I don't speak irish, but they do what they're supposed to do - entertain their target audience. Whereas RTE are just plain crap.
