Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Travel insurance query... covering illness before travel?

    Just a query about travelling…

I’m in the process of booking a holiday and want to take a policy out that will cover me and my partner both on holidays and if either of us get sick before we leave. (he had a fall a few years ago before a holiday and had to cancel – the policy we had didn’t cover him!)

Does anyone know of a travel or health policy that would cover us both while away and if we have to cancel in the weeks coming up to the holiday?

    Many thanks :)

Every travel insurance policy should cover you for cancellation due to illness before you travel. If however you have an illness and choose to travel anyway, but have problems while abroad and need to curtail your holiday, you wont be covered

I'm curious as to why you were not covered after your partner's fall?
