Interesting to see Rast in the Sebastien Loeb car, I wonder are Audi readying him for LMP1?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,510 ✭✭✭Killinator

Pescarolo have been wound up due to lack of assets:(

They are/were an institution at Le Mans and gave dozens of French drivers a chance.

Was really hoping they'd get things together again but that Pescarolo 03 really took it out of them.

Hope Henri still continues his presence at Le Mans.

    Decent.
That said, it could be nicer, especially given some of the rumors that had been going around.

    Webber interview.
Has some good views of the new car, also illustrates how small the 919 is.

I presume Greg Murphys name in as Driver 1 on the LM entry list is an administrative thing and he doesnt want to be the next Pat Dempsey!

Not overly sure what they are doing or even what they can do,
There's a road that goes underneath the track and it's quite sloped by the trees, maybe they'll cut them down and put in safer barriers( I believe the trees played a major part in the accident), with that said, that is a main road on any other week (have driven on it) so it's hard to see it being majorly overhauled.

Yeah, the DSC article suggested that the trees are property of the council and can't be cut down. Simonsen's accident really was a freak accident but even reinforcing that Armco would be a good idea.

Thats good, would have been a shame for the iconic trees to be removed.

That said, its more a shame Alan Simonsen died before these fairly common sense changes were made.
