US Apps via Proxy?

    Would it be possible do get US apps using a using a proxy/vpn such as http://www.unblock-us.com which appears to work excellently while using netflix - have looked at the while the US settings were active with no difference in the range of apps.

    Any way to do this without the risk of a ban?

    Dont think you'll get a direct yes or no to this question as M$ tend to do whatever they please but the good news is I've been using a US acc for years to access games otherwise unreachable with no trouble at all.

    How hard is it to set up a US account? Probably couldn't use any of the apps anyway you must have gold message would most likely appear/not in US
    Sure you haven't altered the system?

    You download the apps and use them with your irish account , like 4oD which is great.

    Most of the apps require you to have a gold account so using the US/UK ones wont work to actually use them but you can still download them like I say.

    The other issue is apps like UFC, Last.FM etc simply wont work here as they are geo locked so you will need a proxy to use them.

    4oD eh...you must have A UK gold acc then?

    or is there a workaround?.

    Nope you download the app with a UK silver account, sign into your Irish Gold account and it will work fine

    does anyone know when the bbc app is coming?

    also any news on ireland getting lovefilm ? the ps3 has it

    You can download the channel 5 app but it doesnt work, lovefilm isnt available in ireland, though word is theyre working on it
