Okay, so went to Newgrange, and our teacher said we should write up essays on it as an interpretive centre and a monument. Could anyone tell me what the layout would be for theses essays? Like what paragraphs would have to go in?

Well the question on Newgrange is almost always about the a) Construction ( layout, corbelled roof, materials used etc) b) Decoration (stone carvings...entrance kerbstone, spirals/ triskels etc.) and finally c) Possible Function (pagan worship/ astronomy etc.) Did your teacher give you a past paper question? Look carefully at the keywords in the q and make sure you address each part in your answer..oh and include diagrams to back up your points. Hope that helps!
