Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Do you have the engineer code? This will stop the internal from activating.
What type of bell is it?

Easy enough so. If you turn off the mains going to the control panel, open it. Alarm will activate so just put in your code. Disconnect the tamper return, BHO, external bell, there will be another two cores connected to the panel on this cable for the strobe into internal bell. Identify the internal and disconnect with the strobe. Reconnect the internal. In the outside Bell you will need the resistor to place over the BHO and tamper return in the control panel. The external bell has a battery that can be disconnected when you take down the bell. Close up the panel and reconnect the mains. At lease the alarm will still work.

Don't forget the ear muffs as the outside bell will be very loud

Your out side bell should stop ringing after 15-20 minutes once you power the system down, when you open the lid just remember to remove the battery connection.
