Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Stockport, Manchester for a day and a night alone

I'm off to Stockport for work for two days (over a Thursday & Friday) but I will only be busy for both mornings. I'll be pretty much bored out my mind for the Thursday afternoon/evening and Friday afternoon until I fly home that night. Can anyone suggest anything in the area to amuse me or else I'll end up in the cinema watching film after film as I usually do.

    Thanks!! :)

Just go into Manchester it's only 20-odd minutes by train. Loads of museums, gigs, restaurants etc I've a mate lives in Stockport and he rarely goes out in Stockport he works in Manchester anyway so easier to head out after work. There are night buses too to Stockport so you can stay out late too.

Museums would be Imperial War Museum North, there's a science museum, museum of the city etc

Lowry Gallery is right beside the war museum so you could do both at once.
