hey at the moment im in 6th year and i am hoping to study human nutrition and dietetics in DIT. From looking at other posts i get the impression its is fairly hard. Is it really as hard as some people imply and do you have a life whilst studying this course. I still want to be able to do sport and to go out at night. all help would be appreciated Aswell what kind of salary could you expect to earn?

Hey! I'm in second year studying Human Nutrition and Dietetics, its no lie that the course is hard and at times a struggle but a lot of college courses are very difficult so I find bearing that in mind helps! Biomedical science in DIT share a few of our lectures and they have it just as tough. You can have as much of a 'life' as you like, it just depends what your priorities are :) I manage to go out once a week and almost every evening I can fit in time for sport of some description, when exams come round you can always find time to cram like every other college student!! I think the starting salary is around €33,000, max is €75,000. PM me if you've any other questions!
