    thanks hussey, was just looking to see what the atmosphere of the place was like, such as meeting people and socialising which the reviews dont have.

    Really nice hostel with great for facilities but the worst hostel I've stayed in terms of meeting people (and I've stayed in alot of hostels in Oz the last 3 months). It's huge with no atmosphere. Everybody kind of keeps to themselves and nobody hangs around any common rooms. The facilities are pretty decent - great kitchen, a cinema room, tiny gym, rooftop jacuzzi.

    If you would like to meet people try Habitat HQ in St. Kilda. Big common room where everybody chats to each other and loads of organised activities i.e. pub crawl, walking tours etc.

    Ya looks good actually, ok so its between habitat and home travellers motel:DHome travellers is a bit cheaper but habitat may have a better atmosphere.

    dont stay in travellers motel, i walked past it and the place looks so depressing and its a complete dive, habitat is worth the extra money

    Hey em, me and girlfriend booked this place for March its seems nice with a good atmosphere. Got plenty of good reviews on tripadvisor too!
