Hey can anybody recommend an artist in Dublin who's great at realistic animal tattoos?
I've been to a couple of deadly artists recently but I thought I'd try somewhere different, and ask here in case anyone has someone in mind.
    Cheers!
Attila at Wildcat Stephens Green is doing a jungle sleeve for me this is it so far.

I'm not overly familiar with the artists from Dublin, but if i was looking to get a black line work tattoo done the only guy I'd go to is Paul O'Rourke in Allstar Tattoo in Limerick! He is an excellent artists and absolutely excels at this type of work. He is very proficient on different styles of this kind of tattoo!! see pics below, all Paul's work!

Paul did some lovely sparrows on my forearm! I also have had some lovely stuff done at Dublin Inc, (resident artist Daniel Flower is amazing!)

So, I'm planning on getting a full sleeve. I want it to be realistic looking with vibrant colours, almost Japanese style, but without the dragons and Koi fish etc. After looking through a lot of portfolios I've narrowed it down to a few artists. I'd like yere feedback on who you think i should go with, your experiences with that artist (if any) and which artist is the best to work with (working with you on ideas and stuff) here they are
    Tomash B - Hydraulix, Dublin
    Pawel - Skin city, Dublin
Darren Brauders - Colour Works, Dublin
    Joe Myler - JMD's, Waterford
    Remis - Remis Tattoo, Dublin

I'd recommend Paul O'Rourke from Allstar Tattoo in Limerick!! He is doing a lot of style recently and absolutely excelling at it! He would be hard pushed to be beaten!! The best artist for the job is worth the 2 hour trip down the M7 ;):D

Hiya, I'm looking for a recommendation for a tattooist who would be skilled/experienced at tattooing over scars? I have two very well healed (7+ years) on my upper arm and I would love to get them covered or incorporated as much as possible in to something. I'm located in Cork but don't mind traveling if I have to. Thanks :D

I am wanting to get it on my inner forearm or on my ribs not sure yet, but is there any particular tattooist that would be good at doing this?

I'd pick an artist who would advise you how to adapt that.

Looks like it could turn out awful messy as a tattoo...

looks right up ondrash's street but yuno he's all the way in the Czech Republic and probably has a killer waiting list

If I was to pick an artist for that I'd try Tomash B :), not a big fan of Martha's work myself not that there's anything wrong with it just not a fan :).

If you look abroad there are many artists who specialise in that style of work or similar styles and do it fantastically as well.

Are you willing in to travel?

Can anyone recommend a shop in Limerick? Ive looked around on FB and Bullmans or AllStar Ink look to be ahead of the rest but I really have no idea.

I suppose what im looking for will either be wildlife (loose term) or a symbol of some description which id like to look quite sharp and clean.

    Thanks :)

For me personally Allstar is the place to go in Limerick. I've quite a bit of work done and its the only shop in Limerick I'd go to!! No offence to Bullman's and Paul Bullman is a really good artist but I just prefer the work Ross Nagle and Paul O'Rourke in Allstar produce and the shop atmosphere is awesome really friendly welcoming shop :)

AWOL would be the only one I'd have much experience with, but they are quite good I think.

I had heard of them alright, I'm not sure what it is, they are good tattoos but they seem very, cartoony or something? I just can't quite put my finger on it!
