    Anyone know if you can buy fresh figs in Cork anywhere at the moment or are they totally out of season/unavailable?

    Nothing is out of season these days,they just import it from a country were its in season. You could try Tesco or M & S, usually in the exotics section of the fruit and veg.

    That's what I had thought too. Found some in the English Market this morning. M&S had none and didn't check with Tesco. Cheers.
