I spent a month or two growing one - shaved it off recently to appear in a work video - nearly all the women at work said that I looked twenty times better without it......might not be the same for you though....

I usually fluctuate between having a beard or clean shaven every couple of weeks. I tend to find mates that don't like them, usually can't grow a proper one. But bítches be jealous I suppose.

One night last summer,he came into bedroom and shouted "Surprise".

major turn off for me- like having a complete (bald)stranger in my life.

Hubby has only shaved his beard once or twice in all the years we have been together, I feel the same as you when he does, it's like kissing a stranger.....

Give it another couple of weeks and when your beard is fully formed you will realise that trivial things like the concept of "cool" are best left to those who lack the requisite beard to think of more lofty subjects.

I grew a beard for the first time the year before last but shaved it for my wedding. Kept a short enough beard for most if last year and decided o shave it at the end of October. Huge mistake. I looked weird without it. Grew it back and it's staying now. Beards are cool.
