Only Thurrock FC of the BlueSquare conference have a worse home record than Bolton...until today.

Did Kenny keep the receipt for Carroll,he'll surely get a refund seeing as he's "not fit for purpose".

Cup final for them though..they will be well up for the United game. It will be a dangerous game for United.

I thought Chelsea was our cup final??:confused:

What has "King" Kenny done that Benitez and Hodgson didn't do?

All that he is done to match Rafa is waste some money and win the fans over. Asides from that, he hasn't been on par with Rafa.

He has been better than Roy though - less frustrating too.

I rarely post in Pool board but felt compelled to given how bad our season is falling away. Its just not good enough, we are practically incapable of beating teams in the fookin relegation zone.

Petrov and Eagles have been superb but N'Gog...less control than an amputee juggler

Brilliant player for Liverpool, no doubt about that.

How ever as a manager he is a tactical dunce. He hasn't the ability to change games, no plan B what so ever and his signings have been very questionable.

Also his handling of certain issues of late have been appalling.

    Great player, poor manager.

Probably going to get a lot disagreeing with me, but the way some of those players have played today, we should bring Cara back in. One thing he will do is give them an earful about how crap they have been. Damn team looks leaderless.

Really? Champions league and fa cup winners and champions league football in every season except one.

Gutted with that result, but I have to say that Bolton were by far the better team today, and were well worth their win.

Quite a few players out there, many of whom cost a lot, gave a great example of why they should be squad players rather than first team starters.

Kenny's tactics and failure to change them have to be questioned as well today.

Gonna go and rent a film now to go with some takeaway. Best to do that rather than wait for the trainwreck that will no doubt happen either in this thread or the LFC superthread.:D

he had 1 bad season out of 6, which was his last.

His second last season he got 86 points, and won the same amount in the league as Arsenals invincibles did. The media had it in for Rafa and working under Hicks and Gillett for 3 years didn't help the situation either.

I'd have him back in a heartbeat, this team today did even compete and were outplayed. This should never happen

No leader out there, Gerrard very poor as captain today

He should have a decent knowledge of previous eras, at any rate.

There's no denying Liverpool were absolutely crap.

But Kevin Friend. Oh dear. How this guy ever became a Premier League referee should form part of an FA investigation. The Reo Coker shove on Gerrard was possibly the worst refereeing decision I have ever seen. Shocking.

Bellamy was the only palyer out there. Tyskie beer is fab.

Something I picked up on, could hear criag bellamy at stages, telling the boys that he needed more, needed the ball in a certain place. Shouting out for lads where he needed them to move. Gerrard should be shouting about the instructions. Bellers had heart today. IMO only one who is exempt from blame, possibly also Agger who tried to press forward a few times.

Early 90s? The time ye transformed from a top class side to an average mid table one?

Won them titles as a manger, was the superstar of a team that won European Cups and league titles.

    Have you a tougher question?

was it not 6 out of 6?? we only dropped into the Europa in the last season due to CL elimination

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 404 ✭✭seanwhite20

A lot of those players out there today need to take a long hard look at themselves. Even if that team did make top 4 they'd be slaughtered in the CL. Not good enough and im fúckin disgusted. It was a totally gutless performance.
