Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You've ever found in your attic? I found an old rocking horse,a load of LP's and an old sewing machine.

Three carbon fibre fishing rods, five expensive spinning reels, a few dozen lures (brands like Rapala and still in their retail packs) as well as a couple of compartmentalised boxes with lots of other fishing gear. All worth several thousand euro. There was also a fishing licence and only two people with that name in the phone book. :)

It turned out my attic was being used as a base by people who had broken into it and the stuff I found had been stolen from boats that had been broken into in a nearby marina. :)

A German Reichsmark with a bullet hole through it. My Great Uncle fought in WW2, and it was in his things. Thought that was quite cool.

OOOoh coincidentally, yesterday my friend found an original painting in the flat I rent that was worth 500 Euro before the Euro conversion (price was at the back of it in Pesatas). I wonder how much it's worth now....here's a photo...

Do ye reckon I could just nick it and sell it? ;)

I found a gay, an atheist, someone who dislikes the catholic church and someone who says they think TG4 is the best national Tv station and someone who thinks Fianna fail ruined the country. They are all pretty cool these days:rolleyes:

Oh and people who think breast feeding is acceptable in public

    Yeah
Replace it with a movie poster and say you got bored of it and tossed it in a skip. Go for it, you would be then be an art thief, which there is a kind of romance to.

That brings back a memory.Years ago I was rewiring a house with another electrician ,when we found what appeared to be a hand grenade .

My workmate while standing beside me, picked up the grenade , pulled the pin, examined it and placed the grenade without the pin on a table where we were working.

The hairs still stand up on the back of my neck, when I think about it.

    obviously it didn,t explode

I found a huge tank. It was full of water too.

The big gun at the front didn't work anymore though.
