    myself and a friend are volunteering in san miguel de allande for a month and have another month to travel mexico... problem is we have no idea where to go!

    any suggestions would be welcome!!

    San Miguel de allende is a good spot.
    I spent 40 days in mexico last year.
    Top place to recommend would be Guanajuato a really nice place.
    That would be close enough to san miguel de allende. Well actually Mexico s massve so travelling takes ages.
    Other than that the north east coast near tulum there are some nice beaches there and good opportunites to do snorkelling.
    Also palenque is a good place to check out ruins., Very sweaty place though.
    Oxaca de Juarez s good too. Good ruins near oxaca too and theres the biggest tree in the world there too.
    Thats kind of everthng big cities beaches and ruins.
