Reputation of Cyber Academy / North East College

    Hi all

    A friend wants to do the COMP TIA+ course in the North East if possible.

    She has asked me to inquire here about the reputation of the college in Drogheda
    formerly known as the Cyber Academy, now advertised as
    North East College. Website: http://www.cyberacademy.ie/

    This place used to be down the Ballymackenny Road, but is now up in
    the Donore business park near the water park place.

    She is suspicious that this college is not 100% legitimate. Her concerns include:

    Their website is out of date.

    The offices of the college seem to be thrown together.

    The application form for the course requested her date of birth,
    PPS number, nationality details and education history.

    She just got the impression that something was not right. Now she said
    herself, she could be wrong, but wanted to ask anyone with any experience
    or dealings with these people to post a reply.
