How do you spend your time statistically :

    Here's my formula, ye - I don't do maths me :

24 hours in a day, 7 days in a week
    24x7 = 168 hours in the week

    I work from 9-6 Mon - Friday, I sleep 8 hours a night
    so 8 divided into 24 = 3 or 33%

I spend 33% of my life sleeping and 66% awake

Of this 66% awake that amounts to 112 hours in a week that I'm awake

    working mon-fri, 9 - 6 minus 112 hours awake = 67 hours me time / free time

Sat and Sun I would be up from 9am and in bed at midnight / 1am
15 hours for Sat and 15 hours for Sun = 30 hours

30 hours - 67 hours = 37 hours during the week free or roughyl 7 hours a night free after I get home

Unfortunately my maths is too bad to continue dividing the 7 hours awake for the rest of my me time

So how do you statistically spend your time ??

I would say I spend a 1/3 of my life asleep, statistically awake I spend nearly 50% working,

any maths wizards out there that can complete this or show me their statistics.
Judging by what I do above, can't humanity just get it over with & replace us all with robots.

as arnie says "you people who sleep 8 and 9 hours a day, will have to sleep faster"

edit: oh, and my statistical breakdown would depress me as a large part of my waking life is stuck in front of a computer. (work & home use)

you sleep 8 hours a night and you're inferring it's not enough?

I spend a lot of it doing maths statistics about what I do with my time.

98% of the time on the internet with no discernible aim, or reason.

2% of the time doing other things that lead to the betterment of my life.

Basically, my life's a sham. I'm sure I'm not the only one though.

the average person spends 1/3 of their life asleep, and so do their 2.5 kids

I was thinking about this a while ago.

If you do something 1 hour every day, it's 15 days per year in total or 4% of the time.
