There is a possibility that this may change to 7.15, if people can make it, and if Astro can confirm availability of the pitch for earlier.

The vast majority of you have expressed a preference for the early kick off (only one person prefers the later game, but CAN play the early), so if Astro say it can go ahead then we'll go with the early.

5-2 win to secure 3rd place and medals.

Well done lads, 3rd place is a decent finish for such a disjointed season, and as tonight shows we are well able to compete and beat the best of them.

    Onwards to the Summer season.

Well done lads, I'd say it'd be a fair bet that our first half performance was the best half played by any team in this league this season. SMH are a very good side but we were all over them playing lovely passing football and had it not been for the posts and their excellent keeper, we'd have been 5-0 up instead of 3-0 up at the break. Great to see everyone learning the lessons of this season and listening to the calls and playing the right ball, switching the play, getting it into the box at the right time and working hard for every breaking ball.

It's a real pity to take 10 points from 12 against the top 2 teams and still finish 3rd and that just shows that on our day we can be a very strong team. That said, SMH are good value for their title - they were the most consistent team and played good stuff throughout, fair play to them. Our challenge will be maintaining that level of performance consistently next season, though this season was the worst in memory in terms of player availability for us so that'll hopefully improve. Anyway, well done to SMH and Benedictine Monks for finishing 1st & 2nd, and I have to say lads it's a pleasure to be part of a team that can play such lovely football as we have done several times this season.

As I said afterwards, huge thanks are due once again to Des and Michael for their commitment and excellent management - we had to adapt many times this season due to availability, but they used the squad very smartly. Cheers lads.

Yep good win, took our foot off the gas at the end which has happened a few times this season and cost us.

We need to stay focused for the 60 mins, in another game those 2 goals could have meant a loss or a draw.

We played very well though especially in the first half and passed it better than we have all season. Plenty of running from everyone and everyone supporting their team mates with cover.

A good season considering the lack of numbers on occasion but we need to push on and win the league next year.

Great performance lads. We showed last night how good we can be when we all play together as a team.

Shame the league has already finished as we are only getting into our stride these last few weeks.

We put down a marker last night that we have to bring into every game in the summer league.

I'm all for getting us together 4 weeks before kick off for some 8 a side or full matches to get everyone sharp and ready for season.

A big thanks to Des & Michael for organizing the squad and again getting the squad all so close to the title 2 season in a row now after wining it before, its a tough job but hopefully we will make their challenge much easier in the summer league with a stronger squad of players with more options available to them every week.

See you all in a few weeks.
