    Hi,

I have a set of 60w JPW mini monitors that I got from you guys many moons ago. They are perfect and have some sentimental value.
Recently I have decided to resurrect them for my home office.

What is the cheapest amp/receiver I can get that I can plug my iPod into and play over the speakers? No extra functionality required really.

    thanks.

    Hi Prospect,

Apologies about the delay in getting back to ya.

For a nice basic but good sounding amp check the Cambridge Audio AM10 currently priced at £169.95.

Let me know what ya think. Or if you've any more questions. :)

    No worries on the delay.

How would I connect my iPod to that?

Forget it, I just zoomed in on the Pic and see an MP3 in 3.5mm input. D'oh..

    Hi, me again,

I see that same amp, with an iPod dock and speakers on special for £130:

Any chance of doing something on that deal, but without the speakers?

    HI Prospect.

The amp mentioned above was the AM10. The Amp with the deal in the AM1.

The best I could offer on the AM1 and Dock with out the speakers would be £119.95

The AM1 on its own is priced at £99.95

Let me know what you think :)

Thanks for that, and my apologies, I thought they are the same amp.

I just now have to decide between your offer, and saving for a few more months and getting something else, like a receiver.

    Hi, me again.

I think I'll go with the Cambridge Topaz AM1, but the richersounds.ie site is showing it as this price:

    Cambridge ID10 IPod Dock- £29.95
    CAMBRIDGE AUDIO TOPAZ AM1- £79.95
    Subtotal- £109.90

Can you check that, also what is the delivery cost to a Belfast address?

    Thanks.

    Hey Prospect.

Yip I can offer that deal from the main website of £109.90.

you would require a cable to connect the Dock to the Amp which I could do for £10 or the remote pack and cable also for £10.

Delivery to a Belfast address would cost £8.99
