Phone upgrades: what type, how often?

Bout €1,300 spent in 18mnths with o2 (two phones). What type of upgrade do people expect or are getting with that spend? Theyre offering one lowest type. Was same 18mnths ago aswell.

I spend 50 a month, which is 600 a year. If I had 2 phones I'd be spending around the same as you.

Knowing Meteor they'd offer me a middle of the road upgrade, not sure who your with. It's a lot of cash when you add it up, but 50 a month is a middle of the road package.
