    Hi all,

Starting uni in Adelaide, Australia in June.Just wondering am I eligible to claim btea or perhaps the grant while I study?

Have been on jobseekers allowance quite a while now. I'm 22 years old.

    Cheers in advance!

no - you can only get them if you are staying in Ireland or in some cases the UK

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

As Mango Salsa says BTEA is usually only available for students in Ireland and at a push the EU, (at the discretion of DSP) but not outside of that.
