Can somebody help with a few questions about moving to OZ

    This is for a buddy, sorry if ye have answered these a thousand times already but I have a few specific questions..

    He is turning 30 next month and is thinking of heading out to Oz around Aug..

    This is his plan,
    Go to Oz on a whv, try get it extended to 2 years and after that try and get sponsorship and stay on for another year or two..

    Can you still get the whv after you turn 30 or would he have to apply for it before he turns 30? I think he can..

    Can he arrive in Perth and do his 88days straight away and then apply for a extinction on his visa before he turns 31 next Feb?

    Can he do his 88days in Perth working in construction or would he have to travel further into the outback?

    Also he is a painter and decorator for the last 12 years but has no papers ( but can get references to bring with him ) will he have a problem getting work?
