Was looking at the CLA Gamefair thread and it's turned out there's a possibility we could go, however in the last couple of days, I've discovered this!

For anybody considering traveling with their dogs. From 1st January 2012, all pets will need a Pet Passport. This can be downloaded from the DOA website.

It will need to be completed by you including microchip no, which the vet will confirm when you bring it to be signed. It must have a 6cm X 4cm pic of the dog (face on view). Signed/dated by your vet and a fee of €50.

The vet sends it off for you and it's returned directly to him. Upon it's return, the vet will then add all the vaccinations your dog has had to date onto the passport.

Now this legislation was brought into effect to stop the spread of rabies over Europe and it's supposed to be same for all European countries. However, as Ireland and the UK are rabies free, our animals are not required to have the vaccination. Continental pets must have tho.

And there ya have it - It's no fun trying to get a decent pic of a springer that's mad to go!!!!:D

Funnily enough - that's what most people said in the vet clinic yesterday, when I was talking to the receptionist about it!
