Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Twitter synchronisation between iPhone and iPad

Can anyone tell me how I can get the twitter app to synchronise across my 2 iOS devices?

Everytime I turn on my iPad I get notifications for twitter messages or mentions that Ive already read well before on my laptop or iPhone. Is there a way to have the app recognise that an event has already been dealt with on another device?

It happens with the facebook and iMessage also but only very rarely.

Twitter doesn't have an inherent "mark as read" status, so Twitter's official apps don't have a sync ability. You'd need to use a third party app that has its own sync like Echofon.
