Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All,

I'm interested in upgrading my AV Receiver to either the Denon AVR-3312 or Onkyo TX-1009

Is there anywhere in dublin where you can demo these?
Want to see which sound i prefer?

    Cheers,

Quite possibly Cloney Audio in Blackrock. Ring and ask. I was surprised they price matched some items I priced on the Net in the UK. I found them nice to deal with and they do audition equipment, just not sure if its specific to some manufacturers. Only problem I had was parking with half of Blackrock closed off!! ;)

There's nowhere in Ireland to properly audition this kind of hardware. All some of the shops will do is turn on a display model for you. Even Cloney Audio do this.
No one has a proper sound stage set up where you can listen to the amps you want coupled with the speakers you want. Which is a great shame. Irish folk just aren't into sound.
