Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have my iphone 4s jailbroken
Thing is I hate the standard clock and specifically **the alarm** on the iphone, I hate that spinning wheel where you set the alarm and find the actual wheel unresponsive

    What im looking for

    > Where you can set the alarm by just pressing the digits on a keypad
    > An alarm that will work on silent mode
    > An indication in top bar that alarm is on

Remember too on my old nokia, when I would set the alarm, it would say 8 hours, 2 minutes until alarm which was handy

Now all of the above is probbaly me being pedantic
Ive had a look around on the normal app store and then through cydia but cant find any alarm like above, anyone have any ideas ?

If you've an iPhone 5 we can't help, as it hasn't been released yet.
It won't help, but I haven't seen a clock app with anything other than the wheel. Personally, I'd hate to have to go back to punching in each digit.

Just use Siri, tell it what time to wake you up at, job done.

The alarm on my 4 works on silent mode.

What i'd like is an alarm that will work if you turn the phone off to save battery.

If you turn phone off it won't wake up for anything.
You can set it to Airplane mode to save power on all other connections during the night.
Nokia/other phones does wake up from "off" but Apple won't.

I don't get why the OP needs a jail broken phone, there are clock apps for the normal iPhone and they can work in the background since iOS 4.

I didnt jailbreak just for a clock app
I just was wondering if there were any clock apps that suited my needs on cydia, but cudnt seems to find any, have tried clock apps in normal app store and couldnt find any either with my requirments

    im just pedantic : )

My iPhones alarm goes off even when silent and there is an indication in the top bar to show its active. So you should have 2 out of your 3 requests.

Regarding the spin wheel I just have a load of alarms configured and then just need to toggle on.
