Friday I would go to the pump house from 7-10 as they have pints of Bavaria & Smithwicks and &Mojitos for €2.50 which will keep it chape.
Decent crowd in there, good music and a pool table down the back.
there is a casino down that way too you could head into for an hour for a bit banter with all your mates and get a few free scoops. then tip on up the parade for a pint in the left bank and across the morrisons. (not a fan myself but sure when in rome)

Place for Grub - definitely recommend Byrnes for the monster brekkie. very good atmosphere in there on the saturday/sunday morning hangover brekkie. music not too hetic on the head..

Langtons in fairness is some set up and worth a visit but really depending on your age. if you under 24 then got to Langtons, morrsion. If you are over go to the set or the cottage (place above morrison)

If you looking to catch any sport i recommend the póc fada on rose in street.

for handy day time grub you can't really beat kytlers or langtons front bar.

That would be my take on it anyways.

Good luck and have a good one

Langtons front bar or The Set @ Langtons if you're over 25. The nightclub at the back of Lsngtons if you're younger. The Left Bank on the Parade is good - two floors, good mix of people. The City Bar across the road, part of the Hiberian Hotel, is a good Late Bar. Byrnes and Egans on are good spots for drinking during the day watching the soccer. For food during the day, Matt the Millers, Langtons, Bollards, Marble City Bar. Decent meal at night La Revista - Parliament St, Yindees - John St.
