    Hey guys, my Beats by Dre which I bought from HMV at christmas broke and I'm trying to get in touch with Monster Cable. The Irish number off the website doesn't seem to work. Is there something I'm doing wrong or is there another number for me to call?

    Your contract is with HMV and not Monster Cable. Deal with HMV first off

    Ok, I will get in touch with HMV, I'm pretty sure I'm out of the thirty days guarantee though. Thanks for the help.

    It's broken, so Consumer Law applies here. The HMV 30 day guarantee doesn't matter here.

    If the item breaks, (assuming no user damage), then HMW are obliged to deal with you, and should offer one of the following: a refund, replacement or repair.

    Start with HMV.
